Delivery Times: While we strive to meet the estimated delivery times, unforeseen circumstances may affect the delivery of your order. In such cases, we will notify you promptly and keep you informed every step of the way.
Revisions: Each service package includes a set number of revisions. Please review your project thoroughly upon initial delivery to ensure it meets your expectations. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
Content Ownership and License: Upon delivery of your video, you will receive the license(s) appropriate for the distribution and usage rights you selected for this product (individual/small business, corporate, or broadcast - identified above). This license grants you the rights to use, distribute, and share the video in accordance with the selected license type. You retain ownership of any content you provide, such as raw footage, assets, and scripts. If your project requires a different license type or expanded usage rights, please contact us before placing your order to ensure the correct license is applied.
Project Scope: All services are performed based on the details provided during the order process. Any changes in project scope or additional requests outside of the selected package may result in additional fees. Please contact us before making changes to your order.
Script and Detailed Outline Submission: Before work on your project can begin, a script or detailed outline must be provided to the editor. This ensures clarity of your vision and allows for an efficient and accurate editing process. Please ensure that all necessary documents, including any specific instructions or requirements, are submitted prior to the start of your project. Delays in submitting this information may result in a delay in the project timeline.
Responsibility for Provided Materials: You are responsible for providing all necessary materials (footage, scripts, media, etc.) required to complete the project. Delays in receiving these materials may lead to delays in your project’s timeline.
Refunds and Cancellations: Once the project has started, cancellations are not accepted. Refunds are only offered in the case of non-delivery or failure to meet the service expectations outlined in the agreement.
Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, power outages, or technical failures.
Privacy and Confidentiality: Any personal information provided during the checkout or project process will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy. We will not share or sell your information to third parties without your consent.
Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of the delivered video, including any third-party claims related to content ownership or intellectual property rights.
Broadcast Rights and Licensing Fees: If this video project is intended for broadcast use, you may incur additional music licensing fees. Please contact us before placing a broadcast order to discuss your specific needs and ensure all necessary licenses are accounted for.
Working Hours and Delivery Time: Our team operates Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. Orders placed by 12:00 PM ET will begin processing the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 PM ET or over the weekend will be started the next business day. Please note that delivery estimates are based on business days (Monday through Friday), and projects will be processed starting the next available business day if placed after hours or on weekends.
License and Distribution Changes: The license type and distribution rights selected during checkout are based on the intended use of the video and scope of your business operations. If the intended use or distribution changes (e.g., upgrading from a small business license to a corporate or broadcast license), additional fees may apply. Please contact us before making any changes to the license or distribution to ensure the appropriate license is applied and the necessary adjustments to your order are made.
Right to Cancel and Refund: We are committed to providing a positive and professional experience for all our clients. However, in the rare event that a project’s content falls outside the scope of our services or if the collaboration proves to be unworkable, we reserve the right to cancel and refund an order. This includes, but is not limited to, content that violates intellectual property rights, is illegal, or is deemed incompatible with the services we offer. Additionally, should there be significant communication challenges or a breakdown in the professional relationship, we may need to reassess the suitability of continuing the project. In such cases, we will work with you to determine the best course of action, and a full or partial refund may be issued depending on the situation. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, respectful, and efficient collaboration, and we encourage open communication to address any concerns throughout the process.
Prohibited Content: Uploading obscene, illegal, or inappropriate footage and imagery to our server is strictly prohibited. Any violation of this policy will result in immediate cancellation of your order, removal from our service, and potential reporting to the authorities. If you are unsure whether your content complies with our guidelines, please contact us for clarification prior to making your purchase.
Final Delivery Format: We strive to deliver your video in the best possible quality based on the materials provided. Before your edit begins, please specify your desired final delivery format and any additional video specs with your editor, including resolution, aspect ratio (horizontal or vertical video), and frames-per-second.
Upscaling, Frame Rate Conversion, and Transcoding Policy: If any footage or images provided are low-resolution, we will upscale them to match the specifications of your requested format. Please be aware that upscaling may result in pixelation or reduced quality. Professional cleanup or enhancement of upscaled footage or images is not included and can be provided for an additional charge. If you require such services, please contact us to discuss your needs and associated costs prior to the start of your edit. Additionally, if your project requires transcoding footage or performing frame rate conversions to align with your specified video formatting/spec requirements, additional fees may apply. These adjustments ensure compatibility but may involve further processing time or costs. Unless otherwise specified prior to the start of editing, the final video will be delivered in the format of the media provided. If no changes to the format are requested, we will maintain the original specifications of the submitted materials.
What Is Not Included in Our Services
3D Modeling and Animated Characters: We do not currently offer 3D modeling or animated character creation as part of our video editing services. If your project requires these features, please contact us for updated pricing and availability.
Voice Over (VO): We do not have in-house VO artists. However, we can provide AI-generated VO or use any VO submitted by you, the client. If you require a professional VO artist, we are happy to help find one and arrange a recording session for an additional fee.
Videography Services: Please note that we are an editing service and do not offer videography. We only work with the materials provided to us, along with any additional stock imagery or footage we source (see our visual style guide for details on stock footage allowances based on your chosen package). If you require a videographer, we can assist you in finding one and arranging the necessary services for an additional fee.
Additional Stock Footage: While your package includes a specified amount of stock footage, we can source additional stock footage for an extra fee. Please let us know if you would like to discuss this further.
