Refund, Cancellation & Revision Policy

1. Scope of Services

Our monthly subscription plans (Kickstart Kit, Momentum Maker, Limitless Launch) include a fixed number of “Content Minutes” per month, as well as a set number of revisions depending on the plan. One-time/custom video packages are billed per project with clearly defined services, runtimes, and styles. See our visual style guide for more what’s included in our one-time/custom video packages.

2. Cancellations Before Work Begins

  • Subscriptions: Clients may cancel anytime before their next billing cycle. After cancellation, no further charges apply, but the current month’s minutes are not refunded or rolled over.

  • One-Time Projects: A full refund is available if canceled within 48 hours of placing the order, provided no work (script, design, editing) has started. After 48 hours or once work begins, the project transitions into the revision phase, and standard charges apply.

3. Refunds & Partial Refunds

  • No Partial Refunds on Delivered Work: Once a final video is delivered - approved or not - no refunds are issued. A delivered project is considered complete.

  • Unused Minutes: For monthly subscriptions, clients forfeit unused minutes after the billing cycle ends. These do not carry over or convert to refunds.

4. Revision Limits & Additional Fees

Each plan includes a set number of revisions per video:

  • Kickstart: 1 revision

  • Momentum: 2 revisions

  • Limitless Launch: Unlimited revisions

    Extra revision packs may be purchased ($100 each). Add-ons like extra footage time may also lengthen turnaround time.

5. Turnaround and Scope Changes

Standard turnaround is 5–7 days per video, depending on plan; expedited delivery may incur additional fees. If clients request new or expanded project elements (e.g. adding footage, more graphics), it’s counted outside the original scope and billed accordingly.

6. Cancellation Mid-Project

If a client cancels after editing has started but before final delivery, partial payment proportional to completed work (e.g. scripting, first edit) may be retained. A fair break-down, such as 50% editable work, is provided to avoid misunderstandings.

7. Client Responsibilities

To facilitate smooth delivery, clients must:

  • Provide footage and assets promptly.

  • Communicate revisions clearly and within agreed timelines.
    Delays caused by the client (e.g. late feedback or missing assets) may pause the delivery timeline.

8. Grievance Resolution

Unsatisfied? We encourage open communication. Up to the revision limit, you’re entitled to request edits. Disputes beyond that can be escalated via email to support@expressvideoedits.com. We value transparent dialogue and want every client to feel heard.

9. Policy Changes

Express Video Edits reserves the right to update this policy. Clients will be notified via email or website posting; the latest version always applies to new orders.

10. Unused Add-Ons: Refund-Friendly

We get it - sometimes you over prepare. If you purchase an add-on like extra footage time, additional revision packs, or storage upgrades and don’t end up using them, we’re happy to issue a full refund for those unused add-ons. Just reach out within 30 days of purchase, and as long as the add-on hasn’t been applied to an active project, we’ll process your refund. We want you to feel confident investing in flexibility without worrying about losing value.

11. Annual Plans: Flexibility You Can Count On

Our annual plans are designed to give you maximum freedom with a full year of content credits available upfront. If you decide to cancel your annual subscription early, we’ll refund the unused portion of your content bank, minus any completed work and a 10% early cancellation fee to cover processing and planning costs.

Here’s how it works:

  • Any used minutes will be billed at your plan’s monthly rate.

  • The remaining balance (unused minutes) will be refunded proportionally.

  • Refunds are available within 60 days of the original purchase date.
